Current Training Community Classes

CPR and AED

The CPR and AED Course teaches CPR and relief of choking in adults, children and infants and use of barrier devices for all ages. It also covers the use of the AED machine (Automated External Defibrillator). It is designed for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. This would include teachers, fitness trainers, lifeguards and coaches. It is crucial for anyone that has a responsibility to care for another person including parents and babysitters. 

First Aid

The First Aid course teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.

 

Professional and Continuing Education

ACLS

Designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics.

BLS for healthcare provider

The BLS for Healthcare Providers course teaches the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier-device, a bag-mask device), use of an AED on adults and children, and relief of FBAO in responsive and nonresponsive victims

PALS

Designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest in pediatric patients. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics.

Stop the Bleed:

The STOP THE BLEED® courses teaches the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control bleeding.
